In this campaign for the office of Attorney General, two thoughts come to my mind: "The law is a learned profession, self policed and dedicated to the common good." and "Public office is a public trust."
Citizens of Maryland have entrusted their government with certain responsibilities, which require a strong, unbiased Attorney General to represent those citizens and their elected and appointed public servants in legal matters related to their duties. Over time, our government has begun wasting precious resources and opportunities through inadequate oversight and management, inefficiency and misplaced priorities.
I have dedicated my time and resources to this campaign because I know that a better job needs to be done in leading the Attorney General’s office to do the best quality work for all of Maryland, its citizens and its public servants.
